How To Lose Weight For A Big Event Quickly

Submitted by: Daniel Millions

Many of us have gotten ourselves in the situation where we'd love to drop ten or fifteen pounds quickly for a special event. Perhaps you have a family wedding coming up in six weeks and you really want to look your best. Alternatively, your son is graduating from college at the end of the month. When you have thirty to forty days you may not be able to perform a miracle, but you certainly can improve the way you look. Follow these tips and you can truly look your best for that special event.

Cut Out The Junk. All of it! Many who have discovered the pounds adding to their figure wind up having some sort of favorite snack food or treat that they eat on a regular basis. That daily doughnut. Those weekly double cheeseburgers with fries. Well if you want to lose weight for that big event, you need to drop all of the junk food you've been eating from your diet. On a more relaxed diet, you could have the occasional treat. This diet is a bit more like diet boot camp. So put down that doughnut and pick up an apple! Time to get serious!

Add Thirty Minutes of Exercise Daily. Some may already be exercising on a regular basis and that is great. Add thirty minutes of exercise in addition to what you are already doing. This exercise will give your metabolism a much-needed boost and help it to burn lots of stored calories. The exercise will also give you lots of exercise. The best tip about exercise is to select something you enjoy. Some people seem to select an exercise they don't enjoy, figuring they may as well hate the entire experience. Have fun doing something. Take a walk down to the beach. Go jogging with your dog. Play with your kids. Do something to get physical.

Get Your Five a Day. The USDA suggests everyone should have at least five servings of fruits and vegetables. We second that. Make sure to get your five a day. Make them colorful and switch them around to get lots of variety in your five. Try some new fruits and veggies. Even try eating vegetarian meals; they are low in calories and fat.

Remove White Sugar and White Flour. To really lose weight, you need to remove excess calories and stuff that simply doesn't benefit you. Sugar is in lots of sneaky stuff, like ketchup. Start reading labels and if it has sugar in it, don't eat it. Once you have stopped having white sugar, you'll recognize the taste right away when it is in something. Getting rid of both of these is an excellent way to increase weight loss in a healthy way.

Drink Lots of Water and Take Vitamins. Make sure to drink 8 eight-ounce glasses of water each day. Take your multi-vitamin each day. While this is dieting boot camp, it is important to stay healthy. Take your multi-vitamin to ensure you are getting all of your nutrients.

Getting rid of the junk food and the sugar often has most people saying that they feel so much better. That they have energy they didn't have before. You may discover that you like this way of eating more than your original food regime.

Weight loss should not be extreme; it should be something healthy that works with your body in a gentle and healthy way. By losing weight in a healthy and gentle way, your body will feel supported to keep the weight off. Going on extreme diets only has your body gaining that weight back, and more as time goes on.

Doctor's recommend Reductil, Acomplia and Xenical as safe ways to lose weight.
