Mens Scarves... It's Tough Being A Fashionable Man

Submitted by: Meryl Rougeaux

It’s tough being a fashionable guy these days! That’s exactly how mens scarves will help you big time!

You want to look good but you don’t know how. Or, if you do know how, it’s hard to find the clothes that work for your fashion sense. i.e. masculine…but in style.

So, here’s a way to put together a great-looking wardrobe:

1. Start with the basics:

A couple pairs of jeans, t-shirts, sweaters, and button down shirts. Add a dark blue suit and black suit. Don’t scrimp on these clothes. They are your base. These clothes make up your primary wardrobe, like a foundation on a house. Now it’s time to add essentials.

2. Essentials are the items that are important to your outfit and very fashionable but are not trendy.

For example, a good pair of leather shoes, a leather jacket, a three quarter length coat, and a series of ties. These things never go out of style. Also, be sure to add several mens scarfs to your wardrobe, too. While women can wear their scarves indoors or out, men’s scarves are primarily worn outside. These are like the walls of your house: necessary but decorative.

3. Add some trendy clothes, but not very many.

For example, you might want a really popular t-shirt or a sweater that everyone “must have” right now. But don’t spend too much on your trendy clothes. These are like the decorations of your house. You can live without them.

So your foundation and the walls of your house are necessary and the decorations are nice, but are not as important and are much more fleeting.

4. Most guys have the foundation already, so let’s focus in on the other items for a moment.

For most men, the foundation of their clothes are fairly plain: blue or black jeans, basic t-shirts in a variety of solid colors. Button down shirts (like dress shirts, for example) that are fairly basic. And business suits that are solid colors or have very small pin stripes. So it’s important that you get silk ties and beautiful cashmere mens scarves that add some color to your wardrobe.

For example, if you have a black wool trench coat, it will go really well with a moss green or forest green scarf or an orange scarf. These can look really professional and quite dapper. If you have a leather jacket, you can achieve the “fighter pilot” look by pairing it with a loose white “Classic Aviator Scarf” at Fashion Scarves and Shawls.com that is really long.

Ties, like men’s scarves add color as well. They come in softer fabrics, like silk, and they add a good splash of color to the plain business suit. It’s likely that you have more leeway with the color of your silk ties than you do with any mens scarves that you own because you can wear lighter color ties (like pink, baby blue, or very light green). While those might look good as a tie, they may not look so good as a scarf.

Make sure you have a good foundation and focus on the essentials and you’ll be a well dressed man!

Its tough being a fashionable man with so many fashion looks and styles to choose from. That's where Meryl www.FashionScarvesAndShawls.com can help you. She has many great looking mens scarves in cashmere, silk, wool and other quality fabrics to have you looking fantastic on your next "out on the town"!
