You can also send out information in the form of a bulletin that is posted for all your friends to see all at once. If done correctly, you can very subtly promote your business or products in this community and you may well be surprised by the results.

As stated above, social networking sites are places where you can come in contact with a lot of people all at once and these sites really do make finding people with similar interests very easy. They are also a helpful tool for networking as well and many people have become successful using Myspace as a powerful marketing tool.
