Relieve From Back Pain After Surgery

You’ve just had back surgery and you are still experiencing pain. What should you do? The first thing to do is talk to your doctor who may prescribe some form of medication to get relief. There are also a few things you can try at home to help get relief from pain.However discuss the techniques with your doctor to make sure you aren’t doing more damage than good.

One of the remedies to relieve back pain after surgery is to lay on your back with a soft pillow under your knees. Keep your knees bent and your back straight. This will keep the pressure off your back. You can also try resting your knees on a pillow that’s placed on a chair. Lay on your back and place your knees on the chair. Both of these are remedies help you to relieve from back pain after surgery.

Another remedy you can try is to stand with one foot on a small stool. Alternate your feet every five to fifteen minutes while keeping your back straight and your head and hips aligned. This remedy relieve back pain after surgery and keeps the pressure off your lower back,particularly if you have to stand for long periods of time.

You can also try a heating pad. Place a heating pad on your back for twenty or thirty minutes. You can also try an ice pack or a light massage given by someone else. Just make sure that you aren’t experiencing more pain than you were before. If your back pain gets worse, you should refrain from using that remedy and cosult the doctor. You should also contact your doctor if you are experiencing numbness, nausea, vomiting, fever, or anything else that causes you alarm. You can try remedies to relieve back pain after surgery but be careful.Always keep in contact with your doctor to make sure you are healing correctly and that your back pain isn’t a sign of something more serious.
