What Is The Easiest Way To Lose Weight?

Submitted by: B.J. Gordey

What is the easiest way to lose weight? Wow that’s tough. Part of what determines whether any diet is easy is based on whether or not it works. If you’re suffering on a diet but it works great, it’s worth it. When the pounds are falling off you usually don’t complain too much about how easy a diet is.

But, if a diet is working and you’re slowly losing weight, that’s when you begin to waiver. That’s when you want a truly no-brainer way to lose. That’s when you start looking for easiest way to lose weight. When you expect to be on a diet for several months you want something you can stick with and that will work. You want something easy.

The first thing that springs to mind is the counting. Let’s face it, if you’re going to be on a diet, you’re probably going to end up counting something. You’ll either be counting carbohydrates, fat grams, calories or points. If you’re looking for the easiest way to lose weight, you’ll want one where you won’t be counting anything.

The next thing we love to hate is menu planning. There are a few diets that have menu plans given, but often there are only a few of the daily meal plan choices you like and you immediately need to determine which meals you will duplicate and which you’ll leave out.

So you end having to sit down and decide on a menu plan, based on the type foods you like. This can be time consuming and ultimately your meal plans begin to be a little boring. Having a diet that plans all you menus for you, taking into consideration your likes and dislikes is a big plus.

This brings us to grocery lists, recipes and shopping for ingredients. After you’ve gone to all the trouble of planning out your meal plans, you’ll need to compile a grocery list of ingredients needed to prepare the various recipes and meals you’ll be eating on your diet. The easiest diet would have all this done for you. You wouldn’t have to make up your own grocery list.

And all the recipes on the diet would be easy, simple food to prepare. None of those elaborate recipes that make you feel so inadequate in the kitchen. Simple food, prepared simply. No running all over town looking for some obscure ingredients. The easiest way to lose weight is to eat plain ole regular food.

The last and maybe the least important but still definitely on the list – is a diet where you don’t have to give up entire food groups. No giving up all carbohydrates, or fat grams, or completely giving up sugar. If you’re forced to give up a particular food, it’s the very thing you want. It’s like when you were a kid and your Mom said you couldn’t have any candy before supper. If you knew you couldn’t have it, it was the very things you wanted most.

So, the bottom line is, we want a diet where you don’t count anything, or give up any particular food group, with simple food prepared simply. We want meal plans and grocery lists made for us. We want all this and we want the diet to work.
